FASD Rock Art Challenge

8/11/2020

3 Comments

We are inviting individuals and organizations to participate in the FASD Rock Art Challenge!
All you need for this family-friendly activity are some rocks, some paint and a little creativity.
Paint your rocks with positive FASD awareness messages and images or colours.

Here are some suggestions for positive messages to paint on the rocks:

FASD = My Superpower!
Be kind, Be FASD Aware
Learn more about FASD fasdNL.ca

We've included a few inspiring examples!
Once you've created your rock art, hide them in parks and walking trails in your community in early September.
Don't forget to add our hashtag #RedShoes4FASDNL on the rock itself!

During the month of September, snap a picture of the FASD rock art that you created or found and tag us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (@fasdNL).

This art challenge is going to make you a better artist for sure. There are lots of people who just go around about their business, and they do not even try to be better. I am like them, I am scared of challenges myself, but I know that it is not how I should live life. If I cannot challenge myself, then I will never be able to get better. I hope that you start doing it for yourself too.
