To help spread awareness and accurate messaging about FASD, fasdNL invited municipalities all across Atlantic Canada to proclaim September 6-10 as FASD Awareness Week.
Many municipalities accepted the invitation to issue proclamations. We thank all municipalities who took part and the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island for their awareness efforts.
In total, we had 51 locations (including the province of NL) proclaim September 6 - 10, 2021 as FASD Awareness Week!
Together, we are putting FASD on the Map in Atlantic Canada!
