Reducing Harms in Atlantic Conference will centre voices from Atlantic Canada and will include sessions and panels on:

Join our free poster, booth, and networking session on Friday, May 26th from 6:30-8:00pm. Check out posters and chat with presenters about their work. Looking for an organization to volunteer with or seeking volunteers? Looking for employment opportunities or offering employment? There will be booths with these opportunities!

FASD: A Refresher and Updates​

This training touches on key pieces of info, changes to guidelines, strength-based approaches, and how to support individuals with FASD long-term.

Transportation

A shuttle will run from the ALT hotel to the MUNL Signal Hill Campus and back each day. The shuttle departs the ALT hotel at 8:30am each morning and departs the MUNL Signal Hill Campus at 5:15pm each evening. Look for the big red school bus (Red Busses Rock!). Click here for the shuttle schedule.

 Learn about the Indigenous cultures of Newfoundland and Labrador with our cultural showcase event, developed in collaboration with key members of Indigenous communities across the province.

Sights of St. John's Bus Tour

​2:00-5:00pm

Join us in a sightseeing bus tour of our historic city, St. John's! From the most easterly place in North America (Cape Spear) to Jelly Bean Row, Quidi Vidi, Signal Hill, Middle Cove Beach, and more, this guided tour offers some breathtaking sights with a touch of history.

Fighting Food Insecurity- Costco Shopping Trip

Saturday, May 27th
​2:00-5:00pm

In effort to improve food security, this is designed for those who travel from rural areas and don't have regular access to bulk shopping. Pick up will be at the ALT hotel at 2:00pm. The bus will travel to Costco and wait, and then return to the ALT hotel.
