Introduction
Welcome to From Lived Experience to Collective Action: Strengthening Community Responses to FASD, Substance Use, and Harm Reduction in Atlantic Canada, a conference focused on health equity, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care.

fasdNL continues to expand its reach across Atlantic Canada while recognizing ongoing challenges in fragmented care models and gaps in understanding, policy, and practice around health, addiction, and community supports.

This conference brings together caregivers, educators, social workers, researchers, individuals with lived experience, and policymakers to share knowledge, strengthen networks, and advance trauma-informed, equity-focused collaborative approaches in Atlantic Canada.

Guiding Principles for Attendees
fasdNL is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at From Lived Experience to Collective Action. All attendees are expected to engage ethically and collegially, avoiding discrimination, harassment, or any form of harm. We prioritize understanding, acceptance, and open dialogue to support a welcoming space for all.
Application
These principles apply to all participants, including attendees, speakers, students, staff, and exhibitors, across all conference sessions, tours, and events.

Expected Conduct
Attendees must uphold respectful interactions at all times, promoting open discussion and knowledge exchange. If you witness or experience harm, please take appropriate action and/or notify the organizing committee at [email protected].

Unacceptable Conduct
Threatening behavior, harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Inappropriate images or language are strictly prohibited. Attendees who violate these principles may be asked to leave and will be offered support as needed.
